As midsummer’s day creeps ever closer, we’re all hoping for beautiful weather and warm temperatures for the festivities that take place all over the UK. Stonehenge, in Salisbury, Wiltshire, is the place to be for the biggest seasonal party, with thousands gathering to see the sunset and then rise again over the bizarre stone formations. [...]
Traditionally used in Asia for celebrations and festivals, many people release Wish Lanterns to symbolise the release of your worries and problems.
Wish Lanterns are 99% biodegradable, non-flammable and safe and easy to use, and create an amazing visual effect that adds enjoyment and wonder to any special occasion. From June 2010 we will also be selling our Eco Wish Lanterns which are 100% biodegrable - with no wire in them.
All you have to do is light the fuel cell and gaze as the Wish Lantern floats up into the night sky. Using the power of fire, the Wish Lantern will be in the air for about 12 minutes and go up over a mile in the air.
Wish Lanterns stand 108cm tall and 66cm wide at its widest point. After release and flight, the Wish Lantern will self-extinguish and float gently to the ground.
Please enjoy our website where you can purchase white wish lanterns, coloured wish lanterns, santa wish lanterns, wedding wish lanterns and even floating wish lanterns. If you have any questions please call 0845 500 1215 or email contact@wishlantern.co.uk.

It’s not only the people of Britain who love to use Sky lanterns in celebration- whether it be during a wedding reception, releasing the lanterns as the guests make wishes for the bride and groom, or as part of Guy Fawkes’ night events, but Songkran, or Thai New Year as it’s know across the world, [...]
